I’ve grown accustomed to experiencing what many outside this field might consider “horror.” In truth, there is no “evil” to be found in nature—though it can be vicious and even frightening, there is wonder in the chaos, a beauty even in the brutality.
At least, that is what I’ve always known to be true. But some times, the beauty can be… difficult to find—obscured as it is by our basest fears. . .
Indeed, despite my attempts to dispel it, in some of my work ,only one word could capture what the results elicited in us:
Horror.
